WHY 'ALWAYS PLOTTING'?

Joseph’s interest in making things sparked in the Dominican Republic at the age of 4, watching in awe as craftsmen in his father’s jewelry store meticulously engraved everything from watches to pens and jewelry. From that moment on little Joseph was always plotting, tinkering, prying, deciphering, and picking locks to drawers that might contain sweets.

After getting into advertising in his native land, Joseph realized he’d have to make a move or risk having his entire body of work set to a soundtrack of merengue. So at 22, he relocated to South Beach, where he entered Miami Ad School and also tried his hand at fashion photography because hey it’s South Beach and that’s what you do. Next came Chicago, where Joseph spent time at FCB, Y&R, and R/GA, crafting campaigns for banks, booze and pretty much everything in between.

Today Joseph lives in New York City and works at Havas NY, where he leads teams and builds brands for a variety of clients, most recently including Barnes & Noble and ADP. His work has been featured by Entrepreneur, Bloomberg, The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Today Show (among others). He’s always on the hunt for the next creative scheme – or the next cookie. If you have intel on either, feel free to reach out.
